Group Tuition - Holiday Courses

GCSE Maths & English
holiday group courses.

Delivered entirely online during the school holidays. Small groups, maximum ten students.

Two separate courses run every holiday - one for GCSE Maths, one for GCSE English - so students can join the subject they need most, or both.

Each course is a structured block of live online sessions, taught by an Oxford-trained educator and built around the topics, question types and exam technique that move grades. Groups are capped at ten students, so every student is heard and supported.

Sessions run mornings, Monday to Friday, leaving afternoons and evenings free. All a student needs is a quiet space, a laptop and a pen.

Below is the full holiday schedule for the 2026-27 academic year. Places are confirmed on a first-come basis.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions, answered.

Our tutoring is calm, structured and encouraging. Every session begins by diagnosing exactly where a student is losing marks, then explains the underlying concepts clearly and practises them with immediate feedback. We never simply hand over answers - we teach students how to reason, so understanding and confidence grow together. Students are treated as capable individuals, not passive recipients, and we push them to think for themselves in a way that feels supportive rather than pressured.

We work with students from primary age through to Year 13, and the tone, pace and materials of every session are adapted to the individual. Younger children build core skills, exam confidence and positive study habits in a gentle, encouraging setting. GCSE and A-level students receive subject-specialist tuition focused on grades and exam technique, while sixth-formers also receive guidance on university applications where needed. Whatever the age, progress is reviewed regularly with parents so you always know how your child is developing.

Our approach is built on first-hand knowledge of what admissions tutors actually look for. Rather than rehearsing generic exam technique, we develop each student's ability to think independently, articulate ideas clearly and engage with their subject beyond the syllabus. Preparation is tailored to the specific demands of each university, course and admissions stage.

For Oxbridge and competitive Russell Group courses, meaningful preparation ideally begins in Year 12. This allows time for wider reading, supercurricular development and admissions test practice without the pressure of a final countdown. That said, focused support in Year 13 can still make a significant difference - particularly for personal statements and interview preparation.

Every session is one-to-one and built around your child's specific needs. A typical session combines diagnosis of weak areas, targeted explanation of the underlying concepts, and supervised practice with immediate feedback. We always focus on why an answer is correct, not just what the answer is - so students can reconstruct their reasoning reliably under exam conditions.

We set clear, measurable goals at the start of every programme and review them regularly with both student and parents. Progress is tracked through graded work, past-paper performance and targeted assessments. Most of our GCSE students improve by two full grades over the course of a year of tuition, and we review progress against that benchmark throughout.

The majority of our tuition takes place online, which allows us to work with students across the UK and beyond with flexible scheduling. Sessions are live, interactive and one-to-one. Where circumstances allow, in-person arrangements can be discussed during your consultation.

Every programme is personally overseen by our founder, an Oxford-trained educator. We match tutors based on subject specialism, the student's academic goals and their learning style. Because we work with a deliberately small number of students, we can ensure each match is considered rather than transactional.

We keep numbers deliberately small so that every student receives genuine depth of support. Places for each academic cycle are limited and allocated on a first-come basis following a free consultation, where we also confirm whether we are the right fit for your child's goals.

Fees depend on the programme, subject and level of support required. Because every programme is bespoke, we discuss pricing during your free consultation - there is no obligation, and you will receive a clear, tailored recommendation before committing to anything.
